DISCUSSIONS

In general, for some individual:

1) The forearm's length is shorter by 2cm compared to the length of the feet.
2) The biggest difference length we measured is 3cm.
3) 33% of the subject length are equal.

While debate remains as to whether the length of the feet is equal to the length of the forearm, therefore, some people might just measure the length of the wrist to the elbow instead of trying the shoe due to some factors, like:

1) Embarrassment due to having smelly feet.
2) Inconvenient to take off and try the shoe.
3) Afraid of the environment crowd.
4) Wasting of time.
5) Fast and efficient way to get a shoe.

In conclusion, it is best for the people to try the shoe on instead of measuring from the wrist to the elbow. The width of the feet can't be measured therefore, the right size can't be obtained. Although it is inconvenient to take off the shoe, it is still the most accurate way of getting the right shoe size.

Therefore, there is NO significant relationship between the length of a person's forearm and the length of the feet.
